Rockwell Development Center

is devoted to empowering children and adolescents to achieve recovery from mental health behavioral symptoms through intensive support, guidance, and goal achievement.


We intend to partner with each child and their family to identify individual needs and build upon the strengths and skills that each child brings to our program.

are conveniently located in Mooresville just outside of Davidson. The setting is somewhat rural with easy access to interstate 77.  The homes for boys (Stickney House & Whalen House) are adjacent to one another and our new girls' home (Helms House) is only about a mile away which offers the children various opportunities for getting the right mixture of social interaction.

Company History

Rockwell Development Center is a company that derives its experience and expertise through its staff members. Each staff member shares our vision of providing quality services to individuals with mental illness. Our dedicated staff members have a cumulative experience of over 30 years in criminal justice, education, mental health, and nursing.

Rockwell Development Center’s vision for growth includes providing other supportive client services to meet individual and community needs. Our intent is to develop and provide residential, individual, group, and family counseling services that benefit the each client, family, and community we serve.
